Chevrolet Cruze Sport6 Hatchback Launched In Brazil

Chevrolet Cruze sedan has already made the success in most of markets around the world. Now, in Brazil Chevy got the balls rolling once again under the title of Cruze, but now in the model plate of ‘Cruze Sport6’ hatchback rather than sedan. Hidden in the skin it is the same Cruze compact hatchback that was launched in Europe back in 2012, but the Sport6 is more of Latin flavor. The 144hp power comes from a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine with 16-valves and ethanol compatibility mated to a 6-speed automatic. On the power note, 0-100 km/h is clocked in 12 seconds where in ethanol form it gets to reach the same speed in 10.2 seconds only. Hyundai Grand i10 (Xcent) Launched In Mexico

After telling the tales of success in India, Hyundai rolled out the Grand i10 (which is known as Xcent in some of the markets) in Mexico for a starting price of 7,950EUR ($9,870). The car is a compact sedan version of the Grand i10 hatchback and measures 3.99 meters in length. It is going to be produced at the company’s facility in India. Under the hoods, engine option of 1.2-liter petrol is reported which will be delivering the power output of 87PS mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, where possibilities of automatic version is geared for the next year launch. The model will be offered in three trims to that South American market. And equipment list is stated to be including one-touch trunk opening, rear camera and parking sensors, automatic AC and folding mirrors.

Michelin earlier unveiled the airless tyres being the near future of automotive industry, yes that’s right ‘airless tyres’, now it has commenced production in the manufacturers’ new facility of North America. Dubbed as non-pneumatic tyres they are built like the spoke-wheels of a bicycle. The center and outer membrane are connected to each other with strong rubber walls in between which mould themselves as per the terrain and hence not needed air to be filled as they are hollow.
