The Opel division of the General Motors is all set to make the debut of the 2012 Opel Astra GTC. General Motors have released the pictures of the car along with the video in virtual landscape of the production model.
The new looks of the Astra version with has three doors is all set to be out with all the minute details in six weeks from now. To be exact on the date, it would be June 7th on the calendars of 2011. 2012 Opel Astra GTC is to make its world debut on the Frankfurt motor show that is expected to start at 15th of September 2011. Opel and its sister concern Vauxhall is to accept orders from summer which could expect deliveries in the fall.
The concept model of Astra GTC was for preview at the Paris motor show that was held in 2010. The production model has the looks closer to the concept model that was showcased at the Paris Motor Show. There only a few visible changes on the apron in the rear that contains the standard tail pipes and the bumper on the front lower part which hosts the lamps that is fog like instead of the LED strips that are thin in the concept car.
The engines of Astra GTC which is three-door are to be in the similar lineup with the model that is five-door, which comes with a wide range of options of diesel and turbocharged gasoline units for the buyers. An OPC model that has a horse power of more than 250 with a chassis that is specially tuned is to be expected in the future models.
