If you thought that the Jaguar XFR couldn’t get any more attractive, then you are about to be pleasantly surprised. The new 2012 version, unveiled at the 2011 New York Auto Show in the XFRR trim just got more attractive.
The new model of Jaguar has done away with the earlier bulbous form of its lights as well cleaned out some of the lines, to make it look more elegant. The photo you see of the new Jaguar XFR, hardly does any justice to it. In fact, the new Jaguar XFR will efficiently make the other cars in Jaguar’s line up pale in comparison. The new version also looks like it will resolve the acceleration and handling of the prior models.
The new model is powered by a supercharged V8 5.0 liter engine, which will have the same output of 510 hp like its earlier model. The unveiling however, contributed a bit of sad news for its American customers, as they won’t be getting the 2.2l diesel engine, which was recently announced as one of Jaguar’s most efficient powerplant to date.
