Starting with the launch of the stylish new MKZ sedan, the newly formed Lincoln Motor Company is all geared up to expand its lineup. According to the report from theDetroit Bureau.com stated that the next product to join the Lincoln brand is the small crossover that will be based on the Ford Escape and will be called MKC. While it was speculated that the name may be reserved for the future two door model or a concept hatchback but it is now quite certain that the C represents the crossover.
The report also reveals that the crossover will be going to make its debut next month at the Detroit auto show, so it will be a wait and watch situation for auto lovers. Unlike the MKX that is based on the Ford Edge, we are hoping to see some differentiation between the MKC and Ford Escape.
