Luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini is stretching its Blancpain Super Trofeo series further by adding another race car to it. The recently unveiled all-new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo will run in the company’s 2013 season series, which will cover six race weekends in various venues with 58 drivers.
Based on the street version of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4, the new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo has got some additional features that make it apt for racing.
The Italian car manufacturer’s new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo features a new spoiler design, new wheel arches, and a new rear diffuser. With these additions, the new car delivers a 120 per cent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency over its immediate predecessor.

In addition, the 2013 model has been equipped with remodeled brake ducts which improve thermal performance and front brake cooling by around 50 per cent. Increased downforce by 282 lbs in low downforce system and 352 lbs in high downforce trim ensures better dynamic performance and balance.
Under the hood, however, the 2013 model will most probably retain the typical 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 570 HP.
