The action-loaded Hollywood-movie scene seems to have taken place in the life of Katie Holmes’s life too. The soon to be ex-wife of Hollywood ace Tom Cruise and her 6-year old daughter Suri have been reported to have had a close shave with an accident on Monday. It was when a garbage truck brushed against the actress’s chauffeur-driven Mercedes Benz S550 sedan. Both, the actress and the daughter were reported to be traveling in the sedan.
The actress and her daughter were reported to be heading back home from Suri’s gymnastics classes in Manhattan, New York City, when the mishap took place. Although both of them were reported to be present in the sedan but there are many, who are rumoring about the absence of the mother-daughter duo in the car.
As far as the damages on the Mercedes Benz S550 are concerned, reports suggest that the car has survived with a few minor dents and scratches on its rear left-hand side. The Mercedes Benz S550 sedan is actually well-known for its safety features. It is fully loaded with front, side and even rear airbags, ABS and stability control. Katie and Suri mustn’t have worried during the brush.
Moreover, the car features ingenuous optional sensors that detect obstacles beyond the headlight’s reach. The only flaw with the safety system of the car is that it really requires sensors at the rear end to warn its drivers and passengers about any speeding dump truck from rear.
The Hollywood actress is being reported to be fighting for her possession on Tom Cruise’s Bugatti Veyron (worth Rs.16 crore INR) and a bullet proof Porsche 911 too as a part of her divorce settlement.
