Dyson Racing controlling ALMS (American Le Mans Series) LMP1 champion team will be taking possession of the 1st production Caterham SP/300.R over a year after it was unveiled in joint venture with Lola Racing. Final assembly of this car will be taking place at the plant of Dyson Racing in New York, where they are also an official American distributor for Caterham Cars. It played an essential role in designing and engineering this racecar, sending Peter Weston, its technological director, and Guy Smith, former Le Mans 24 hour winner out to test sessions of Caterham during product enhancement. The Caterham racecar’s goal is to mirror the appearance and technology of Lola Le Mans prototype.

Mr. Chris Dyson, Sporting Director and Vice President at Dyson Racing Team stated that like plenty of their customers, they can’t wait to get their hands on Caterham SP/300.R. Like in United Kingdom, the attractiveness of track day driving is rocketing and the SP/300.R is ideal for those who want a cost-effective and reliable car with very accessible yet serious performance.
It is always been about driving. The aggression of braking and acceleration forces acting on your body; the satisfaction of placing the vehicle with absolute precision; the way the car communicates with you, constantly feeding a stream of data to every synapse, nerve and sense ending and the feeling of the car beneath you, inspiring you to push boundaries.
