Ferrari has revealed a single teaser image for its Formula One race car that will be taking part in 2013 season. The teaser also confirms that the car will be revealed at the Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello, Italy on February 1st.
Although the controversial front nose of the Ferrari’s 2012 race car, F2012 seems to be out of the picture. The front of the new car which is code named as 664 (but is likely to be called as F2013) looks much lower than the current car.
This will be the last car from Ferrari that will feature a V8 engine as with the effect of the new 2014 regulation changes the current 2.4 litre engine will be replaced by a new turbocharged 1.6 litre V6 engine for the next season.
Once again Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso will be driving for the Ferrari in the 2013 season.
McLaren has also scheduled to reveal its car on January 31st, while the Red Bull Racing may reveal its car on February 3rd and the Mercedes-AMG might offer its beast on February 4th.
Teams will then move to Jerez in Spain for official testing ahead of the commencement of the 2013 F1 season, which is scheduled to start on March 15th at Melbourne’s Australian Grand Prix.
