Just a couple of weeks after revelation of Subaru WRX concept at the 2013 New York Auto show, here comes the first spy shot of one of the nearly completed prototype of the production version of the upcoming Subaru WRX.
But if one gives it a closer eye one could easily find that it may be a prototype of even more extreme version i.e. WRX STI version of the upcoming vehicle.
The most oblivious sign is the rear wing that can be found on any of the STI versions even on the current one. A slightly downgraded version of the rear diffuser can also be seen on the vehicle as the rear wheels fills out the arches completely. With his gymkhana antics being on an all time high, this one definitely in its stock form would deliver the adrenaline rush that he so craves for. The 2012 Subaru Impreza that we had for our first drive left us pretty much impressed and here are a few insights on this wonderful vehicle, one which would come into showrooms near you pretty much within 2 months from now. The 2012 version definitely is not a thing of beauty and for that matter, which Subaru is. They all have a gawky appearance and as far as we know, were never really called as beautiful.
