Article by Ayan Sengupta
Earlier reports came in that a four-cylinder boxer engine would make its debut this year at the Frankfurt Auto Show, but now reports have come in that there is no chance of seeing that engine for another three years. Officials from Porsche have said to Autocar that the four-cylinder boxer engine is still in early phase of development and it would not become operational before 2016. The engine will first be used in the refreshed version of 2016 Porsche Boxster and Cayman cars.

Article by Raghu Raj Murmu
When the automobile historians will look back and do research on the evolution of Porsche‘s 2012 911 Carrera S hundred years from now, they will find a sharp bend in the evolution in the year 2012, when literally a small yet precise development has been done in the evolution of the car’s progress. Since the inception in 1963 this car has been through a non-stoppable series of evolution by factory and private teams for rallying, racing and other types of automobile competitions. It is to be noted that this is one of the very successful cars made for the competitions ever. The 911 Carrera RSRs won few major worldwide championship sports car competitions in the mid-1970s, e.g. Daytona, [...]

Traditionally, the 2012 Porsche 911 variants have always come with incremental improvements – be it increased power, some new technological features, changes in styling or usage of lighter materials. What remains untouched though is the classy 2012 Porsche 911 silhouette as well as rear-mounted flat A6.
External Changes:
The latest 2012 Porsche 911 (internally referred to as 991) comes with a 3.9 inches longer wheelbase. However, tighter overhangs have restricted the overall length increment to 2.2 inches. A slightly wider front end and [...]
2011 Porsche Panamera test drive
Article by Lijo Mathai
Porsche cars are all about being posh. Not that they have much in the way of features however the overall German layout of things is something which many would appreciate in a Porsche car plus the sense of speed that one delivers. Some manufacturers like Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari can never manufacture small cars which only have a 100 mph top speed or something. All they know is making 155 mph plus cars. Well my subject for today crosses even this limit and can still safely be called a four seater sedan. It is the Porsche 911 based 2011 Porsche Panamera sedan that I have for a test drive with me now. This vehicle has been around since the spring of 2009 and for the model year 2011, two [...]
