Mazda Eyes New World Record Using MX-5 Miata

Well known car maker Mazda is eyeing a fresh global record for the “biggest procession of Mazda vehicles” by making use of its MX-5 Miata sports vehicle.
The renowned Japanese auto manufacturer is in the throes of organizing an assembly of around 800 MX-5 Miata sports cars at a gathering, which will take place in Lelystad, the Netherlands.
The gathering will take place on June 15, 2013.

A new and more compact SUV, the 2013 Mazda CX-5, is expected to be put on sale in early 2012.
The CX-5 will succeed the Mazda Tribute to become the smallest among the trio of crossovers from Mazda, including both the CX-9 and the CX-7. The car was initially revealed at the Auto Show in Los Angeles in November 2011 and has been given a completely new platform. It will be using newer suspension, interior and brakes. It has similar engine as well as transmission as the new 2012 Mazda 3.
The CX-5 has a wheelbase stretching to 106.3″, which is longer than competitor new launches like the 2012 Honda CR-V and the 2013 Ford Escape.
