BMW has made its way to pebble beach Concoursd’ Elegance in California in order to launch its new Zagato Roadster, Which is an off-concept car based on the production convertible version of Z4.
The new version has evolved from Zagato Coupe. The new Roadster’s all aluminum body was designed in just six week which is a surprisingly small span of time. It is clearly distinguishable as a Zagato owing to the kidney shaped radiator grille of this car. Moreover, BMW also says that the Zagato Roadster’s soft top was redesigned to retain its iconic Double Bubble roof.
The Zagato Roadster’s interior is quite identical with that of the standard Z4 convertible. The seats, the steering wheel and the door panels have been furnished in light brown colour with black accent. Zagato’s ‘Z’ icon has been stitched in both headrests.

The technical aspects of the Zagato were not revealed but it is being said that the vehicle is completely functional.
The concept cars that BMW has been revealing over the last few years at the prestigious car shows have always been one of the off models that were not scheduled for production and there is no reason to be sure that Zagato is any exception. Most people are convinced that the Zagato Roadster is the direct indication of what next generation Z4 might look like.
