Audi has brought in real good news for its fans in the US. Even some time ago US Audi lovers just couldn’t get themselves an Audi RS model. But things are changing now as the carmaker is reported to be officially importing its RS5 machines into the United States.
It was the Facebook page of the automaker that provided images hinting towards the news at the first place. The posted images showed the Audi RS5 setting wheel on an US airstrip. The trajectory of the Audi RS5′s transit included Atlanta and San Diego too. As soon as the car was brought into the country via these two places, it didn’t take much time to attract eyeballs towards itself. It was followed by people capturing the images of the go-fast machine on their cell phones. The images posted have turned out to be a bit processed before their post, thus ensuring almost all sorts of color to the car.

The Audi RS models feature a naturally-aspirated 4.2L V8 powerhouse. The redline-fan engine of the car churns out a peak power of 450hp. It was Audi CEO, Rupert Stadler, who confirmed the news of inclusion of the aforesaid engine in the RS5 model.
Initially it was thought that US automobile market will be barred from getting Audi RS models, as it was told that the carmaker needed to clear costly certifications. Moreover, limited market in the country made it a bit tricky for the company to justify the introduction of the coupe.
When Stadler was contacted about the price tag of the RS5 model he didn’t have any word regarding it. But it is being expected that the Audi go-fast machine will be made available at a price close to the BMW M3. All we have to do is to wait till further updates come in from the company’s side regarding the RS5.
