American car giant General Motors 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray car will not be launched at least until later this year, but the car has already been recorded involving in an accident on a public road.
The image of the crashed 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was posted on the Web by Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry, who claimed that he had gotten the picture from a friend in Arizona. Along with the picture, there was a short note stating that he “received this image e-mailed from a pal in Arizona past week…”
The Digital Corvettes forum member, however, described no circumstances in which the accident took place, other than that the accident happed in the thick of a set of curvy roads and that the coupe ‘ping-ponged off’ a guardrail, into the rock wall.
“Driving through some mountainous region in Arizona around 30 minutes back; In a few rigid hairpin bends when we passed along this ’14 Vette. Police man had just arrived. Vehicle is in bad shape than appears. Hit banister on left and bounced back to stones.”
After the accident, the car is in worse shape. Considering the way it climbed on the rocks, we can only assume that the car was traveling at a high speed. Optimistically, anyone involved in the accident walked away safely.
The report also said that this car crash was most probably was not a part of the Chevrolet testing regimen.
As per repots, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible will be introduced to the globe on March 5, 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show. The new Stingray will present the matching balance of expertise, design, as well as recital as the vehicle that was introduced to Detroit in the month of January.
