Volkswagen, which published the authorized images of the 2013 Beetle Convertible a few days back, is now ready to uncover the highly anticipated car.
As per reports, the vehicle will be unveiled at 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show on 28th November.
After entering the globe at 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the vehicle will hit the UK market by spring next year.
Initially rolled out in the year 1949, and the New Beetle Cabriolet of the year 2002, it marks the third generation of the curvaceous Volkswagen soft-top, which offers unique expediency and open-top driving fun for 4 people.
The blend of a flatter roofline and the less sloped windshield provides the vehicle an outline, which matches that of the renowned original Beetle Cabriolet yet goes jazzier and more active in appearances.
The new model also comprises design indications from the contemporary Volkswagen array: the air cove below the bumper, the flat shape of the hood’s bottom edge and in particular the tail lamps show the vehicle’s close family affiliations.
Another trait adding to the unique appeal of the innovative Beetle Cabriolet is the conventional soft top.
The 225 litre boot consists of a fold-down symmetrically split back bench seat that permits superior items to be shipped even when the roof is closed up.
To offer extra security in the event of a turn over mishap, Volkswagen has created an active rollover defense organism. It comprises 2 extendable modules equipped within the vehicle in hidden fashion behind the flipside of the back bench seat.
