The impact of rising fuel prices has pushed even the supercar manufacturers to come up with some new ideas and technologies to get few extra miles from a liter of petrol. Lamborghini is known for making some excellent and incredible supercars, is all set to launch its new cylinder deactivation technology in its next generation cars. The new system deactivates the cylinders when they are not in need. The system will be revealed in the 2013 Aventador and will help this supercar to achieve more out a liter of petrol and at the same time emitting less CO2.

It is being said that the 2013 version of the Aventador will become more fuel efficient with an average fuel efficiency of about 6.25 kilometers per litre. The new 2013 Aventador will also get some new stiffer springs and retuned dampers for better ride and comfort.
