AC Schnitzer has announced plans for introducing their new tuning program for BMW 6 Series Coupe at 2011 Essen Motor Show. Earlier this week, AC Schnitzer, an Aachen-based tuner announced its program for new 6 Series. The tuned up 6er was headed to 2011 Essen Auto Show along with new 1 Series 1M and Hatchback. For sportier appearance, the shoppers can order sports exhaust system, aerodynamic body kit and chromed grille. There is also variety of wheels in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches. The car is equipped with new aero kit with redesigned front air dams, new exhaust system with chrome tailpipes, front bumper lip spoiler, rear spoiler and rear apron and chrome grille integrated in bumper. Two Schnitzer suspension springs were fitted to 6 Series Coupe along with 295mm wider tires and 21 inch alloy wheels on rear axle.
The cabin inside BMW 6 Series Coupe is quite prestigious and is a pinnacle of luxury featuring sport steering wheel, velour floor mats, aluminium iDrive cover and alloy pedals. Under the hood, there is a massive, burly twin turbocharged V8 engine, which is good for churning out jaw-dropping 750 newton meters of torque and 533 horsepower. This stage of twin-turbo V8 is found in ACS6 AC Schnitzer and AC Schnitzer ACS5 Sport S. The standard 6 Series Coupe generates 111 pound feet of torque and 131 horsepower less as compared to the AC Schnitzer upgrade. The engine is quite powerful and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in the time range of 4.3 seconds with the top speed of 325kmph or 202 miles per hour.

Established in the year 1967, Schnitzer has headquarters in Aachen and has common roots with Schnitzer Motorsport, however is fully independent concern both legally and commercially.
